Product Detail

A bar stool is a type of seating designed specifically for higher surfaces (typically 90–110 cm). Compared to ordinary dining chairs, it features a longer leg proportion and a higher seat height. It is intended to allow users to sit comfortably by a bar counter, kitchen island, or high table, with legs naturally placed on either side of the stool or on the foot ring. The bar stool is not only a functional piece of furniture but also a finishing touch that enhances spatial ambiance—ranging from wood-and-iron combinations in industrial-style pubs, to minimalist upholstered versions in modern homes, to vintage leather swivel styles. The wide variety of materials and shapes allows it to easily blend into various interior design aesthetics.

Core Structures & Features:
Seat Height Specifications: Divided into two categories based on counter height:
Standard Bar Stool: Seat height 65–80 cm, fits counter height 90–105 cm
Extra-Height Bar Stool: Seat height 75–85 cm, fits counter height 105–115 cm
Seat Materials: Solid wood, leather/PU upholstery, fabric, plastic, metal (e.g., stainless steel, iron)
Frame Construction: Commonly metal (iron, stainless steel, aluminum alloy) or solid wood (oak, walnut, beech). Some models include backrests or armrests.
Footrest Design: Most bar stools feature a crossbar or ring footrest located 15–25 cm from the floor, designed to relieve leg discomfort from dangling and improve sitting comfort for extended periods.
Additional Features: Swivel seat, pneumatic height adjustment (gas lift), foldable design, casters/wheels, etc.

Typical Applications:
Home Spaces: Kitchen islands, breakfast bars, home bars, high-top dining areas
Commercial Venues: Bars, restaurants, cafes, dessert shops, pubs, nightclubs
Other High-Surface Areas: Reception counters, outdoor bars, patios, poolside bars

Selection Guidelines:
Counter Height Matching: Maintain 25–30 cm of legroom between the seat surface and the underside of the counter.

With or Without Backrest: For prolonged use (e.g., working, dining), a backrest is recommended. For short stays (e.g., wine tasting, casual drinks), a backless stool saves space.

Footrest Necessity: For stools with a seat height exceeding 65 cm, a footrest is highly recommended; otherwise, dangling legs may cause fatigue.
